My dog is not able to be off-leash. Can I still do a session?
Definitely! In fact, I often encourage dogs to remain on leash for their safety while we are on location, and I take care of it behind the scenes!
MY DOG IS VERY ENERGETIC, DOESN’T SIT STILL, OR IS UNTRAINED. CAN YOU STILL CAPTURE THEM?
Certainly! Every session is distinct and my aim is to always capture the genuine personality of your pet. By enabling your pet to behave naturally, I can capture the most authentic images that truly reflect their character. While it's beneficial if your pet understands basic commands like "sit" and "stay," it is not mandatory.
How do photography sessions work with multiple pets?
Based on the dynamics between your pets, I have the flexibility to capture their photos together or individually. Feel free to get in touch with me, and I'll gladly collaborate with you to create a customized plan that suits your preferences and the relationships among your pets.

What forms of payment do you accept?
E-transfer, debit/credit card. I also offer flexible payment plans that are customized for your needs.
Photoshoot in my home... but my house is messy/isn't very pretty
Please please please remember the reason we are making these photographs - to capture your beloved pet and/or the bond between you. Almost everyone I work with is at least mildly self-conscious about their home. This is not about having the best house or Insta worthy photographs, and it’s not going to matter.
My focus and emphasis will be connection, emotion, details - not your sofa, or other multifarious fine home furnishings. However you feel about it, this is your home. Perhaps your forever home, maybe your just right now home, possibly your halfway finished home. Regardless, it IS the home you and your bestie(s) lived in. It’s a part of you and it’s a part of them, and for that reason alone it is exactly and unequivocally perfect.
How do I prepare for a photography session?
Although it's not obligatory, preparing your pet with grooming before the photography session will enhance their appearance. However, considering that grooming can be stressful for pets, It's recommended not to schedule it on the day of the photography session.
While it's not mandatory, I recommend exercising your pet prior to the photo session. This will help them expend excess energy and result in better photos during the session.
What should I bring (or have on hand) at my photo session?
I suggest that you have your pet's favorite treats/toys available at the photo session to help with focus.
What happens after my photo session?
1. 1-2 weeks* after your photo session you will receive access to your online viewing gallery.
2. You select your favorite images you'd like artwork/digitals of.
3. We work together to customize your artwork!
4. Artwork gets professionally made and carefully shipped.

What happens if I book an outdoor session but the weather is bad?
Not to worry! If the weather calls for rain/storm/smoke/etc. I'm happy to reschedule you for another day when it's sunnier!
Where do the photography sessions take place?
Your ideal photo shoot location can be anywhere that resonates with you - whether it's your home (must have a spot with bright natural light), a picturesque park, my in-home studio or any spot that captures your vision perfectly. For locations within Airdrie city limits and up to 20km beyond, there will be no travel fee, (I also frequently visit Irricana and certain areas in Calgary). However, for other locations, each will be assessed individually, and a travel fee of $0.50 CAD per kilometer will apply. This fee encompasses fuel costs and compensates for wear and tear on the vehicle.
